Design

Our United States design teams possess a comprehensive understanding of the development life cycle. Utilizing this expertise, we translate our client goals into marketable pieces and collections, incorporating cutting-edge technologies to provide photographic mockups and a rotating library of fabrics, trims, and components scalable to any given visual, performance, and price point objectives. The process continues with fit and grading assessments before our network of manufacturers produces prototype patterns and samples. Throughout all stages of this process, we remain in close communication with our clients to ensure transparency and accountability.

Sourcing

Leveraging relationships established more than 20 years ago, Stars has been able to successfully (and conscientiously) develop products and collections while avoiding opportunistic placements and unknown factories with unreliable conditions. Quality and value are at the forefront for us but never at the expense of responsible manufacturing. Rarely has it been necessary to source outside of our 60, hand-selected factories to achieve our clients’ goals.  Occasionally we will add additional factories to our portfolio but never without extensive investigation and the assurance of the utmost consideration for their employees.

Production and Quality Control

Through the coordination of four global offices and the exacting expertise of our project management teams and thorough guidelines, we have been able to mitigate errors that arise during the manufacturing process. Each step of the cycle is carefully monitored and approved by our clients to ensure that no disruptions occur during the initial phases. We also follow a strict regimen of independent testing on fabrics and garments to ensure fulfillment of all expectations. Finalization includes a graduated inspection and tight associated quality level (AQL) of 2.5 prior to completion.

Delivery

Aware of the pitfalls that can plague national and international shipping processes, we ensure that our transportation teams maintain constant communication with our clients from the time your goods are shipped from the manufacturing facility to when they arrive at the port of entry or requested delivery address. We facilitate all customs arrangements so the only legwork required of our clients is a phone call or e-mail for up-to-date order statuses.
